We have been asked what sets APS apart from others who sell mailing lists?

We have a guarantee, we operate with integrity, we are honest in our dealings with clients and we operate in a friendly, responsive and professional manner.

As an example of our professionalism, when a client places an on-line order with
APS for Opportunity/MLM names, the order is processed on a secure server in REAL TIME.

This means that the client knows right away if the order was successfully processed and if the credit card was accepted. In addition, our server side programs will automatically generate an email, confirming your order and the details of the order immediately after the order is entered. That way the client who orders an opportunity or mlm type list will know that the order was received correctly. A confirming order number is also provided automatically for reference. 

What is our replacement policy?

Our replacement guarantee applies to US Opportunity Seeker/MLM/Home Business names as follows:
US Names and addresses are replaced on a 5 to 1 basis. Names with telephone numbers are replaced on a one-for-one basis. Most other companies will say that all sales are final and in fact you are on your own after the sale. We want you to be satisfied and interested in how your campaign went and we offer our clients a choice of replacement options. Your feedback is valuable as it helps us to better serve you and monitor the quality of our lists and our sources.

Please note that we sometimes have a limited number of Canadian names. Since these are more difficult to acquire, we will replace Canadian names (when available) that are undeliverable on a one-for-one basis. Also, if you purchased a list of names from a specific geo-area, replacements for that area will be provided if available, and from other geographic areas as needed when providing replacements.

I am involved in an MLM program, but am not satisfied with my income. How can I find out about other programs - can you put me on one of you opportunity lists or add me to your database?

Yes. For sometime now, we have received a steady stream of requests from people who want to be added to our databases because they want to receive opportunity offers. So here's what we have done. If you want to receive Opportunity and/or MLM offers and info, just go to our Guest Book - Opt-in page...it's also accessible from the HOME page.

Once your in the Guest Book, you can either add your name and contact info to our Guest Book for all to see, OR, you can fill in the blanks on a small form and we will be happy to add your names to our NEW Opt-in lists. Your name will be active for around 6 months and then you can opt-in again if your want.  We just activated this new opt-in capability... please let us know if you find it to be useful! It's simply a way to get those who have opportunities to offer together with those who are looking for an opportunity.

I don't know what types of lists there are that I can choose from.

There are two basic types of lists - broad categories, if you will that most lists will fall into. The first is a respondent list. This type of list is made up of names who have responded to opportunity related offers, including MLM, home business and business opportunity related advertising or offers.

The second type of list can be described as a compiled list. A compiled list is usually a compilation derived from various sources that can include directories, phone books, registries, public and private records, government records and even credit bureaus. 

Where does APS get opportunity seeker/mlm/home business leads?

We develop some of our leads in-house. Our Opportunity related leads are respondents to blind advertising and promotions - names who have responded to opportunity related offers, etc. 

We have spoken with many individuals who are constantly searching for an honest vendor and who are tired of the poor quality of the leads that are mostly offered by middle-men vendors and even brokers. In all candor, if you order opportunity/mlm/home business leads from a source who cannot tell you how the leads were developed, you are probably just getting old or  over-used leads. We have found that most of the respondent leads that are sold, and re-sold, and re-sold, by various vendors/brokers are not very good. 

That is why we obtain our leads directly from those who do the advertising or from our own advertising campaigns. This means we have actually seen the ads that are are run and the advertising copy that individual respondents have read. 

So, we can absolutely state that our leads are among the best as we know how they were developed. We place ads and have over the years have identified the best lead sources. As list brokers, we know who to contact to find the right list for you.

Postage is expensive. How do I know I'll get my money's worth and are your lists free of nixies?

It may be impossible to have a mailing list that is 100% free of undeliverables or "nixies" as they are
sometimes called. We do our best to make sure that your names are deliverable. As a matter of fact, we pass all of our respondent/opportunity names and addresses through CASS software so that addresses are corrected using Post Office approved address abbreviations and most addresses will have zip-4 codes included. It may be impossible to have a mailing list that is 100% free of undeliverables or "nixies" as they are sometime called. We do our best to make sure that your names are deliverable. As a matter of fact, we pass all of our respondent/opportunity names and addresses through CASS software so that addresses are corrected using Post Office approved address abbreviations and most addresses will have zip-4 codes included.

The fact that we have invested in CASS software and stay current with the latest releases is just one way that we attempt to eliminate undeliverables. What about names with telephone numbers - do you guarantee the telephone numbers, etc.?

This is a fair question and deserves a full answer. We have found that even when we source a Business or Specialized Business list from a major list compiler, that telephone numbers are not guaranteed. This is because of the way that area codes often change and this does affect telephone numbers provided with lists.

Can you provide me with names from a particular State when I order? If you can, how can I let you know that this is what I want to do?

If you want to obtain names from a particular State, we will allow you to select two States on any list of 500 names or more. However, the reality is that it is truly a matter of luck if we have names available in a particular State. This is because the response to any Nationwide print ad cannot be predicted as to who will respond and where they may reside.

To request names for a particular State or States, after placing an order online, just send an email to info@leadlists.com to advise us that you wish to have us select names from a particular State or States. 

Please keep in mind, that in the event that we need to replace nixies and we have provided you with names from a particular area or State, we will try to replace your names from your original preferred area. But if current names are not available, your replacement names may be from an area other than your preferred area.

Do you provide opportunity seeker lists that contain respondents from countries other than the United States?

At this time most of our respondents reside in the U.S. and some lists will have a few names from Canada. We do not have respondents from other countries at this time as advertising is placed in print media that enjoys a domestic and Canadian distribution.

Why are your list prices so low?

This question has been posed a few times to us by some experienced and novice list buyers alike.

In all honesty, we feel like we will need to raise our prices to cover the expense of the value added features that we provide. We do replace names and will reimburse postage. We do CASS certify our mailing lists addresses. We will verify telephone numbers. We do ship our lists via Priority Mail...not by first class. This all adds up, so you can look for a price increase to go into effect probably in later this year. 

How many times can I use a list that I purchase from APS?

You can use the list one time unless you request unlimited use in advance.  The guiding principle is that a mailing list name should only be mailed to - or called - one time, other than for follow-up when the person contacted has requested additional info. What is the Secure Order Form used for?

The secure online order form can be used to order opportunity seeker-mlm lists. You can either fill in the form, make your selections and print it out and mail it with your check or money order, or, you can actually enter your order online and order using your credit card. I've heard that on-line ordering using a credit card is not always safe. Is ordering on-line with APS really secure? I mean can some hacker get my credit card number?

Do we offer other types of Lists?

Yes, we do offer Business-to-Business lists. If you need a lists of businesses to mail to, or have a need to target certain types of professionals or geographic regions, we can often be of assistance.

Do you sell email lists?

We do provide targeted email addresses for certain types of businesses. Please feel free to call if you would like more information regarding email addresses. On the other hand, if your budget allows, you may want to consider utilizing an opt-in email approach. This type of list is provided by Postmaster Direct and they provide a turnkey service. You need to register with them and then you can obtain info about email list rentals. The upside is that they will do the mailing for you and the response rate that they advertise is rather high.

What are your prices for other types of Lists - like Business lists?

Prices for sourced. compiled or specialized business lists will be quoted on per list basis and will vary somewhat based on selection criteria, etc. Quotes are provided on request on a no-obligation basis.

Will a compiled Business list be 100% free of undeliverables?

In all candor, we only source from recognized and established List compilers. Our primary compiler passes their databases through address correction software, so the number of deliverables should be reduced. They use CASS certification software that insures that addresses meet U.S. Postal Standards. But, if you expect any list to be totally free of undeliverables, I would suggest that is not a reasonable expectation.

What if we need a business list that is more sophisticated - that involves selection of specific types of prospects and selection by segments within a database - is this possible?

Yes. We are a registered with one of the best sources for compiled Business lists in the U.S. This means that we have access to just about every type of business list that you might need. For example, if you wanted to mail to manufacturers and/or distributors, and needed to mail to the CEO or CFO or President of companies located in the US,  and only target companies with sales in excess of 20 million per year, we can provide you with that list.
